Video Editor
You’re the person who makes ideas move. You think in sequences, you obsess over pacing and timing, and you get genuinely excited when music hits a cut just right or a motion graphic lands perfectly.
At Zimmerman Agency, we create integrated campaigns for travel and tourism brands that make people want to pack a bag. We’re looking for a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer who can handle everything from short-form social videos to broadcast spots, working closely with our creative team to bring campaigns to life.
What you’ll do
- Edit and motion design content across broadcast, digital, social, and web
- Work closely with art directors, copywriters, and creative leads to translate concepts into finished video and motion work
- Develop motion graphics, lower thirds, title sequences, and animated assets that feel on-brand and on-concept
- Handle color grading, sound design coordination, and post-production polish on all deliverables
- Adapt and repurpose video content for multiple platforms and specs (Instagram, YouTube, broadcast, etc.)
- Manage project files, organize assets, and maintain version control across multiple concurrent projects
- Present and explain creative decisions, and iterate based on feedback while keeping the idea intact
- Juggle multiple timelines and deadlines without losing the details
What you bring
- 2–5 years of video editing and motion graphics experience in an agency, production company, or fast-paced creative environment
- Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
- Strong portfolio demonstrating:
- Clean, polished editing with great pacing and timing
- Motion graphics and animation work that’s both beautiful and functional
- Work across multiple formats and platforms
- Understanding of color, typography, and design principles in motion
- Solid grasp of video specs: codecs, frame rates, resolution, delivery formats, and platform requirements
- Ability to communicate creative ideas clearly and take direction well
- Experience with sound design, music licensing, or audio coordination (a plus)
- Familiarity with animation principles and design-thinking approach to motion
- Comfortable collaborating with designers and creative teams, and able to work independently
- Proactive, organized, and detail-obsessed about file management and deliverables
